Going On In Austin
- Palmer Events Center is hosting the Austin Energy Regional Science Festival this week from Wednesday through Saturday. The Festival is one of Texas’ largest science fairs, and where the future begins. With more than 3,000 students ranging from 3rd through 12th grade, the event is filled with a love of science.
- Early Voting has begun in Texas and Austin before the March 6th Primaries. Early Voting lasts until March 6th.
- ZACH Theater presents The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Nighttime, an adaptation of Mark Haddon’s internationally best-selling novel. The play follows a teenager with an extraordinary brain who is very gifted at math. ZACH’s production will immerse you in a world with physical storytelling and an extraordinary video design. The theatrical event is fun for the entire family.
- On Thursday, February 22nd, the Junior League of Austin presents Austin Entertains, a culinary experience led by Austin’s greatest female chefs. The event will feature gourmet tastings from the chefs, tasty libations from local female bartenders, and a live music from Austin’s favorite party band, Southtown. All funds raised through this event will benefit The Junior League of Austin’s programs including Food In Tummies, Coats for Kids, and more than 30 local, community non-profits.
